The Experience

30 minutes you'll never forget.

Help our Otter Nanny entertain and engage with Charlie's Angels while they swim, play, and investigate every inch of you. Guests are encouraged to ask questions and learn everything you ever wanted to know about Asian small-clawed otters.

All encounters happen in our outdoor otter enclosure with pool and gazebo—unless there's inclement weather, in which case we move it indoors at our discretion. It's a whole lotter fun!

  • Engage otters while they swim (you play with toys from the deck!)
  • Capture incredible photos & videos of your session
  • Bring a towel — you might get splashed!

What to expect

It's wild. In the best way.

Every encounter is unique depending on the otters' mood—but here are some highlights our guests love.

Toes up your nose!

These otters are incredibly curious, energetic, and have no concept of personal space. Get ready for some close interaction!

Jungle gym potential

The chance of being used as an interactive jungle gym, climbing post, or racetrack is very high.

The rare nap

If you're extremely lucky, you might catch the ultimate highlight—an energetic otter settling down to nap right in your lap.

Learn everything

Our Otter Nanny knows their personalities inside and out. Ask questions and learn about their diet, biology, and conservation.

Pool playtime

Watch and interact with them as they swim, dive, and splash. You stay dry on the deck—they do the swimming.

Outdoor vibes

Enjoy our clean, fresh-air gazebo and rocky enclosure set beautifully in the North Idaho woods.
